Rosatom, Kazakhstan sign EPC contract for Balkhash nuclear plant

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 3 (Interfax) — Russia's Rosatom and Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants LPP (KNPP) have signed an EPC contract for the construction of two 2,400 MW power units at the Balkhash nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan, an Interfax correspondent reported from the signing ceremony on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
