Kazakhstan tightens anti-corruption law: promising a bribe now a crime

ALMATY. May 28 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan's Senate approved legislation making it a crime to promise, offer or solicit a bribe, closing a long-standing gap in the country's anti-corruption laws.
