ASTANA. Dec 24 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The outgoing year of 2025 has been relatively calm for Kazakhstan’s transport sector. The country continued to build up its capacity as an international transit hub and a key corridor linking China and Europe. Major developments during the year included plans to establish a cargo airline, build a new port, and implement several infrastructure projects aimed at easing transit bottlenecks.
