Kazakhstan harvests 325,000 tonnes of sugar beets from 38% of area

ASTANA. Oct 31 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The sugar beet harvest continues in southern Kazakhstan. As of the end of October, over 325,000 tonnes of root crops have been harvested from 37.8% of the area, with an average yield of 450 centners per hectare, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.
