Kazakhstan names former US ambassador as first deputy foreign minister

ASTANA. Oct 13 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed Yerzhan Ashikbayev as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, according to an announcement from the presidential office.
