Kazakhstan to exempt pension fund payments from income tax in 2026

ASTANA. Aug 1 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Pension payments from Kazakhstan’s Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) will be exempt from individual income tax (IIT) starting January 2026 under amendments to the country’s Tax Code signed by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the UAPF announced Friday.
