1,200 attempts to transfer money to terrorist organisations’ accounts thwarted in Kazakhstan in 2024

ASTANA. Jan 8 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – 1,200 attempts to transfer funds to accounts of terrorist and extremist organisations were identified and blocked in 2024, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan reported on Wednesday, citing the head of the Financial Monitoring Agency (AFM) Zhanat Elimanov.
